The ‘Type Craft’ Summer School consists of five multiple-day masterclasses entirely devoted to typography in various ways. The use of signs and text goes back centuries and still plays a major role in how we transfer information and how we design it. During the masterclasses, experts will share their knowledge and skills on current developments. Each masterclass will be given by a leading international designer.

- Underware – 18 to 20 August
- Studio Dumbar – 19 to 20 August
- Grilli Type – 21 to 23 August
- Autobahn – 24 to 26 August
About Summer School
The program offers space for self-development, learning new skills and insights, broadening professional knowledge, increasing your international network and discovering Breda and creative makers. Next to the masterclasses there will be a social program offering studio visits, talks and a Type Tour through Breda. This program is also open to non-participants.
Participants
You can register until July 18. For each masterclass, 15 participants will be selected based on skills and motivation. It’s possible to join multiple masterclasses (check the dates!). Each masterclass costs € 95,- (excl. VAT) for professionals and € 75,- (incl. VAT) for students. As Graphic Matters partner Keep an Eye Foundation supports young talent, participation is limited to 36 years of age.
